Files and attachments

Add files

• Click the add button next to the composer.
• Drag files or images into it.
• Paste files or images from the clipboard.
• Type @ to search workspace files.

Side chats support the same upload methods.

Supported types

KeenKind supports common images, code, text, Markdown, JSON, CSV, PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OpenDocument, RTF, and EPUB files.

Scanned PDFs may lack readable text. Executables, installers, system libraries, disk images, and similar high-risk binaries cannot be uploaded as ordinary attachments.

Upload limits

• Up to 10 files per message.
• Up to 25 MB (approximately 25 MiB) per file.
• Up to 50 MB (approximately 50 MiB) combined.

Very long documents may be partially extracted. Specify page numbers, sections, worksheets, or filenames when you need the model to focus on a particular area.

Files over these limits show an error. Compress or split them, or reference a workspace path instead.

Workspace paths

Click workspace file links in replies:

• Click to preview in the right panel.
• Ctrl + click to open in the system default app.

The path must exist in the current workspace. Switching workspaces or moving or deleting a file can invalidate an old link.

Previews

Code and text use syntax highlighting. Images, PDFs, presentations, documents, and spreadsheets use suitable previews. When formatting cannot be fully reproduced, KeenKind falls back to readable content.

What is sent to the model

Readable text is extracted from text-based files. Images are sent as image inputs. Understanding images, complex tables, or large documents depends on the selected model.
