Shortcuts

Common actions are available from the composer. Menus show only installed and currently available capabilities.

/ quick actions

Type / in an empty composer to open quick actions. Continue typing to filter, then select with arrow keys and Enter.

Actions may include creating a chat, switching mode, opening settings, or using enabled capabilities. Available entries depend on the current page and installed extensions.

@ file references

Type @ to search the current workspace. Selecting a file adds an explicit reference for the model to read or process.

Accessible file paths in messages appear in blue:

• Click to preview in the right panel.
• Ctrl + click to open in the system default app.

$ Skills

Type $ to find and choose an enabled Skill for this turn.

If no results appear, check installation and enabled status in Settings > Extensions > Skills.

Links

Web links and accessible local files appear in blue:

• Click a web link to open it in the built-in browser.
• Ctrl + click a web link to open it in the system browser.
• Click a file link to preview it in the right panel.
• Ctrl + click a file link to open it in the system app.

Continue from a turn

The branch button below an assistant message copies that turn and earlier history into a new chat. The new title receives a number to distinguish it from the original.

Keyboard shortcuts

View, edit, and reset shortcuts in Settings > Keyboard shortcuts, including:

• New chat, extensions, settings, and tasks.
• Layout, fullscreen, and zoom.
• Open file, new side chat, and new terminal.
• Editing: find, undo, redo, copy, paste, and copy as Markdown.
• Browser: new tab, address bar, find, screenshot, and developer tools.

Examples of default bindings (Ctrl or Cmd depends on your platform):
